I love Medly, but in my opinion the update made it worse. I have a 4 measure song that I would play on a loop, but cant anymore. Also when I edit a section,it plays over and over and its distracting. Since I got the app I wanted it on my phone, but now I think it wasnt worth it.

The only problem that I have is that you have to use their music kits and they dont have many options. For example I would really love a hip hop kit. But otherwise its amazing. I just spent a few hours messing around and creating a song. You have to have this app !

This app is great if you enjoy working for like two and a half hours in a song that suddenly freezes and then you lose everything youve done. I want to give this app a chance again someday. Not today, today Ill cry in fetal position T_T Ironically, all my crappy "workflow test songs" are there. Tested in iPhone 6+

Great app but man would i love some deep house beats

Ok, this is a great sequencer. Im having a lot of fun with it... EXCEPT when I run into one of its weird limitations. -Only 8 tracks? Why? -Only have Undo when youre zoomed it editing a block of notes? -Difficult to get my music from this to other music programs (ie GarageBand) -No triplets or dotted notes? -Only 3 octaves of notes? -too hard to save "work in progress" to revert back to if you screw up. -If you change an instrument, you have to remember what it was before if you dont like the new one you tried... no undo, no way to save instrument configurations. -Only 4/4 time signatures? But it sounds *GREAT*, its easy & fun to use, Ive been doing all kinds of neat stuff with it. When it grows closer to a real music app its going to be absolutely awesome. Check out the demos that come with it... theyll show you how good it sounds. Its really surprising. Really, guys, great job... I paid the 9 bucks or whatever for the 92 instruments and it was completely worth it. Love it, totally worth the price... just, KEEP WORKING ON IT and give it some more serious features, and get rid of some of the really obvioous shortcomings, and it will be PERFECT.

The best free app I have ever downloaded, every music connoisseur will want to have this. As a fellow musician, I have already spent hours on this, messing around and composing works. I only wish there was more specialization in the customization process such as more octaves and different time signatures. Overall its an amazing app, and it has thoroughly persuaded me to buy the in app purchases.

This app is easy to use and fun in general. I spend my free time (such as when Im waiting for something) working on this, but Ive encountered a glitch. I cant have more than 3 instruments or the 4th and on wont have any noises with them. Its ruined it, and it came along with the recent update.

Amazing app! Just more sounds and effects plz, and maybe an eq.

Kinda like Auxy maybe better has more tracks.

This app is wonderful! As a music producer and DJ I am always looking for new ways to make music, especially mobile so I can work anytime. This is one of the best apps out there to work and make music, probably the best. Highly recommended it to people just starting out with the music industry and that want to try it, or to people that have been doing it for a while. Nevertheless, an amazing app. Love it so much, been using it for 2 days and I cant put it down. And more packs please! Keep up the good work

This is the best app I can find for making your own music!THIS IS WORTH GETTING

Ok, if this is suppose to help me pick tracks for melodies to help me write songs (which is what I was hoping it would do) then this app is too hard. I think I found a better app and I will be deleting this app. Thanks, but no thanks! Cant use if I cant use! Make it more app friendly!

The app froze on the "tap anywhere to deselect" prompt. Pretty fun listening to that generic loop until I decided to kill the app.

I already wrote a review for this app but wanted to go more in depth. Ive now been using the app for a couple of months and really like it. There are some improvement the app needs. For example, the app crashes sometimes whenever you are looping a beat and your editing the echo effects. Also, it would be nice to introduce panning. I also feel like it would be nice if you guys introduce a hip-hop kit to make hip-hop beats. Also, more tracks instead of just 8. And more instruments. The app is awesome. I like it a lot but if you guys do all of this and more pretty sure the app would be better.

This app is great for starting out music creators. It will really help and you can make some pretty cool beats in there. 5 stars!!

Ive tried some other apps like this, (Auxy, Beatwave) and those were good for their own reasons. But Medly is GREAT. its like Auxy and Beatwave had a baby. So good.

This app is very good..its like a pro one but i prefer more sounds in starter pack..

An absolutely amazing music sequencer. The only downside that I see is that you only have 1, 2, and 4 bars for any measure. Itd be great if you could have something in between one of those.
